WOODLAND HILLS: Bus Hits Car in Crash on 101 Freeway at Fallbrook Ave
WOODLAND HILLS, California (June 29, 2017) — A woman was hospitalized after her car was struck by a bus transporting 13 elderly people on the eastbound 101 Freeway, just west of Fallbrook Avenue, a Los Angeles Fire Department report said.
The crash took place about 8:54 a.m. this morning. The bus driver reportedly struck the rear of the car driven by the woman who was alone in the vehicle. She was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
None of the 13 passengers on the bus were injured in the crash. The bus driver declined medical transport to a hospital.
The crash is under investigation to determine liability.
