101 Freeway Car Accident in Woodland Hills
WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. (Oct. 25, 2018) – Five people were hurt Thursday morning in a multi- vehicle crash on the westbound Ventura (101) Freeway.
Paramedics rushed to the scene of the collision on the freeway about 7:15 a.m. near Shoup Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
They treated a total of five patients at the scene, transporting four of them to hospital for treatment. None of the injuries were life- threatening, the LAFD said.
Police closed down the westbound lanes to conduct an investigation.
Los Angeles Crash Investigation
Police are reviewing the evidence and any witness statements to determine fault. It’s unknown at this time what led to this crash, nor whether or not drugs or alcohol played a factor. The investigation will also consist of looking at measurements of evidence left by the vehicles such as point of impact, final resting positions of the vehicles, skid marks, and gouge marks.
