2 Killed in Woodland Hills Crash on West Mulholland Drive

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 1, 2022) – A car crash killed two people on Mulholland Drive in the Woodland Hills neighborhood.

According to the KTLA News and CBS Los Angeles, the tragic accident took place on Tuesday night. Officers reported the wreck at around 9 p.m.

The incident happened when a Toyota Camry was traveling at a high rate of speed east on Mulholland Drive in Woodland Hills. A Ford Mustang was driving ahead of the Toyota at the time.

Los Angeles police said the Camry then slammed into the rear of the Ford. The two cars crashed in 23100 block of West Mulholland Drive, near Valmar Road.

Speeding Driver Hits Another Car

Both vehicles caught fire as a result of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and pronounced the two occupants of the Mustang dead at the scene.

The speeding driver, a man in his 20s, ended up in good condition. Medical personnel evaluated and rushed him to the hospital as a precaution.

The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, police forced a stretch of Mulholland Drive to shut down for several hours following the wreck.

The cause of the fatal Woodland Hills crash is still under investigation.
