1 Killed, 1 Injured in Woodland Hills Crash at Winnetka Avenue and Brahma Drive
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 14, 2022) – A crash killed one person and injured another at Winnetka Avenue and Brahma Drive in Woodland Hills.
According to the FOX LA News and My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Monday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 9:35 a.m.
The incident happened when a male rider of a 2018 Kawasaki Ninja was going south on Winnetka Avenue, approaching Brahma Drive, in Woodland Hills.
At the same time, a 2017 Nissan Versa was making a left turn onto Brahma. Los Angeles police said in the process, the two collided near an entrance to the Pierce College.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters arrived at the scene and then found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics rushed him to a hospital, where he soon died.
Medical personnel at the site provided treatment to the driver of the car who survived the incident with minor injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, police forced the area of Winnetka and Brahma to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Woodland Hills crash is still under investigation.
