Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-run Crash Topanga Canyon Boulevard
WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. (March 4, 2021) — A Woodland Hills hit-and-run pedestrian accident left a 40-year-old woman dead Wednesday night on Topanga Canyon Boulevard.
The collision happened about 6 p.m. on March 3rd in the unincorporated Topanga area, just south of Woodland Hills, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The woman died at the scene and the driver fled without stopping to help her, police said.
Following the Woodland Hills hit-and-run, authorities are asking the public for help to locate the suspect.
There is no description of the vehicle involved at this time.
Investigators hope they will find surveillance video to get more details about the driver and vehicle as well as the cause of the collision.
Police closed down Topanga Canyon Boulevard for about five hours to investigate the Woodland Hills hit-and-run.
