At Least 1 Hurt in Car Accident at East Street and Churchill Downs Avenue Saturday
Woodland, CA (June 29, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred in the area of East Street and Churchill Downs Avenue, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
On June 26, Saturday, two vehicles collided at the Woodland intersection. The make and mode of the automobiles involved in the accident remained unknown at this time.

Initial records indicated both motorists pulled over to the right-hand shoulder of the roadway following the incident. However, one driver eventually fled the scene without leaving any contact information.
Shortly after 10:15 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the intersection of East Street and Churchill Downs Avenue. They immediately checked the conditions of all parties left at the scene. After the evaluation, officials confirmed at least one person sustained injuries from the collision. The name of the victim, and the extent of their trauma have not been discussed thus far.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to identify and location the hit-and-run suspect in the car crash at Woodland.
