Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Woodside Crash Near Skyline Boulevard and Highway 84
WOODSIDE, CA (February 26, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash near Skyline Boulevard and Highway 84 in Woodside.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:19 p.m. at 17288 Skyline Boulevard.
A male motorcycle rider and a vehicle collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed near Skyline and Highway 84, also known as La Honda Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics then responded to the scene near the Alice’s restaurant. They found the victim and his bike on the right hand shoulder as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed the patient to Stanford Hospital with major injuries, including a compound fracture. Officials did not disclose the name of the motorcyclist and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officials added that the other driver involved pulled over following the crash. They also forced the Woodside roadway to shut down after the wreck.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
