WOODY, California (Saturday, October 24, 2015) – A blaze erupted after a recreational vehicle towing a pickup truck went off the roadway in a traffic collision at the intersection of State Route Highway 155 and Granite Road. Firefighters worked hard to put out the flames as paramedics rescued the occupants of the vehicles. Emergency workers reported one major injury and one minor. The individual with the more serious injuries was life-flighted to an area hospital. Animal Control was then called in to help deal with pets that might have been involved in the collision.
According to an incident report by the California Highway Patrol, Bakersfield, the accident occurred this evening at about 6:02 p.m. Delano Towing advised to bring a combo recovery vehicle.
