Vehicle Hits 2 Workers on Interstate 5
Sacramento, CA (September 7, 2022) – One worker died, and another suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Interstate 5, the FOX40 News reported.
Our sources indicated a maroon-colored minivan struck a sub-contracted cone truck with Caltrans along the freeway in Sacramento. According to the article published online, the minivan also hit two workers closing part of I-5.
The horrible crash took place Wednesday at about 6:30 p.m.

When medical personnel arrived at the site, they found both workers suffering in injuries. Paramedics later pronounced one worker dead. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Authorities added the second worked sustained serious injuries after the incident. An ambulance rushed the patient to a nearby hospital, where they were listed in critical condition.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. At this time, they continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly accident that happened on Interstate 5 in Sacramento.
