Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Vehicle on SR-2 Saturday
Wrightwood, CA (February 2, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred on State Route 2, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a vehicle struck two people on Angeles Crest Highway Saturday evening. The crash took place on SR-2 at Elm Street.
Shortly after 6:40 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the site. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the possible victims. After an evaluation, officers confirmed the pedestrian suffered minor to moderate injuries as a result of the collision. Police continue to withhold the identity of the victim pending confirmation.

Meanwhile, officials mentioned the driver of the vehicle involved in the wreck fled the scene. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
