Deadly Crash Between SR-241 and Riverside 91 Freeway
ANAHEIM, Calif. (Sept. 23, 2024) – A fatal crash involving a wrong-way driver happened Sunday on a transition road between the 241 Toll Road and the 91 Freeway in Anaheim Hills.
The deadly crash involved three motorists at around 2:25 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, according to a report by the Orange County Register.
A woman driving a vehicle reportedly entered the southbound State Route 241 from the wrong direction before colliding with another motorist on the transition to westbound SR-91.
She reportedly exited her vehicle and walked into traffic lanes before being hit by a third motorist.
The other motorists called 911 for help and remained at the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded and pronounced the wrong-way motorist dead at the scene.
Investigators are working on the case.
