According to the incident report, at least four vehicles were involved in the collision, one of which was overturned. Witnesses observed the vehicle attempting to correct its course after initially driving against traffic in the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane, leading to the chaotic scene.
Emergency responders, including units from the California Highway Patrol (CHP), quickly arrived on the scene.
