 Wrong-way San Diego Car Accident Interstate 15 in Scripps RanchSAN DIEGO, Calif. (April 22, 2019) — Four people were hospitalized Sunday afternoon when a wrong-way driver collided with multiple vehicles on the northbound Interstate 15 Freeway.

The crash took place about 3 p.m. in Scripps Ranch, near Scripps Poway Parkway.

Police say the driver struck several vehicles, leaving four people injured and one of them with major injuries.

A full investigation is underway, but at this time it’s unknown if any arrests were made.
