Xiuwei Liu, 37, Fatally Hit by Car in Candlestick Point
SAN FRANCISCO (August 3, 2017) – A pedestrian was struck and killed near Harney Way and Executive Park Boulevard on Tuesday evening, according to San Francisco Examiner.
The accident was reported at 7:02 p.m. in the Candlestick Point area.
As per the article, Medical Examiner’s Office and police said 37-year-old Xiuwei Liu was hit by a car driven by a man who was allegedly speeding away after being involved in an argument.
Liu, of San Francisco, died at the scene.

Police affirmed that the driver got into his vehicle and drove away, after an alleged argument with another person in the area. The man then crashed through the sidewalk and slammed into trees and a light pole, prior to fatally hitting Liu.
The motorist was hospitalized with unspecified injuries. His name was not disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities are still investigating the incident.
