
CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. (Jan. 20, 2023) — Yardley Yolanda Rojas, 41, was hospitalized following a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on North Loop Boulevard in California City.
Police are searching for both the suspect and the woman’s family members as she fights for her life in the hospital.
The hit-and-run crash occurred about 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18th in the 9300 block of N. Loop Blvd., according to a California City Police Department news release.
Police responded to the scene and located the pedestrian identified as Yardley Rojas with major injuries, but the driver had left the scene.

Paramedics transported the injured woman to a hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, authorities say the driver of a silver car or a gray Toyota was involved. The vehicle likely has front-end damage, police said.
