Major Injury Collision Near Lakeview Road Tuesday
Yermo, CA (December 28, 2021) – A traffic accident that occurred Tuesday afternoon on Calico Road resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Earlier reports indicated a motorcycle rider collided with another vehicle on Calico Road near Lakeview Road. Additional description on the motor-vehicle involved in the crash have not been discussed thus far.
The CHP logged the incident at about 2:30 p.m.
When medical personnel arrived, they immediately checked the conditions of all parties found at the scene. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained major injuries–including a broken neck and back. A helicopter reportedly landed near the crash site to transport one patient to Antelope Valley Hospital. Officials continue to withhold the name of the patient pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the motorcycle accident on Calico Road in Yermo.
