Passenger Killed in Car Crash Identified
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. (August 29, 2019) – An 86-year-old woman identified as Yoko Beers died in a crash between an SUV and pickup truck in Fountain Valley, according to the Orange County Sheriff Coroner.
Yoko Beers, 86, of Santa Ana, was a passenger in the SUV that was involved in a collision about 4 p.m. on August 8.
Paramedics responded and transported the injured woman to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, according to the coroner.
Beers died at the hospital at 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the coroner said.
