VAN NUYS, Calif. (Dec. 4, 2017) — Yolanda Aguilera, 31, and Lorenzo Lopez, 42, both of Glendale, were hurt in a solo crash into a tree on the 405 Freeway, just south of Victory Boulevard.
The collision took place about 2:15 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Lopez was driving a 2001 Toyota Corolla with Aguilera as a passenger in the vehicle.
Aguilera, who was pregnant, suffered major head injury and was found unresponsive after the crash. Lopez had a major leg injury he suffered in the crash.
Paramedics rushed the two vehicle occupants to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Doctors conducted an emergency Cesarean on the woman due to her injuries.
