YOLO COUNTY: Fatal Motorcycle Crash Highway 16, Parker Place

Motorcyclist Killed in 2-Vehicle Collision on Highway 16 in Esparto

ESPARTO, Calif. (Feb. 17, 2025) — A fatal motorcycle crash happened early Sunday morning on Highway 16, near Parker Place in Esparto, Yolo County.

The CHP reported the collision around 2:15 a.m. in the westbound lanes along Highway 16 between a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a Chevrolet SUV.

The motorcyclist was traveling behind the Chevrolet when the two vehicles collided, the report said. The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and died following the accident.

Investigators are working to determine what caused the crash and liability.

It’s unknown at this time whether or not drugs or alcohol were factors.
