Man Hit and Killed by Vehicle on Interstate 80 Monday
Yolo, CA (July 12, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident on Interstate 80, the FOX40 News reported.
The article published online indicated a vehicle traveling west on the freeway crashed into the rear of another car. Officials said the collision took place near Yolo Causeway around midnight Monday.
Following the incident, both drivers pulled over. Then, one motorist stepped out of their vehicle for an unknown reason.

Authorities said a passing semi truck failed to notice the man, and hit them. The force from the impact resulted in fatal injuries to the pedestrian. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Additional details on the horrible crash have not been discussed thus far. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the deadly accident in Yolo County happened.
