1 Injured in Crash on Yreka Ager Road Near Highway 3
YREKA, CA (July 14, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a crash on Yreka Ager Road near Highway 3.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 1:36 p.m.
According to their dispatch, three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Yreka. They crashed at 3101 Yreka Ager Road near Highway 3.
Motorcycle and Car Collide in Yreka
CHP described the vehicles as a gray Honda, a white Ford F-350 pickup truck and possibly a motorcycle. The pickup obtained major damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found one person hurt as a result of the collision. The patient sustained minor injuries following the incident.
Medical personnel took the wounded party to the Fairchild Medical Center for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the victim and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a portion of the roadway to shut down after the crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck.
