YUBA CITY, Sutter County (September 19, 2014) – A white Toyota pickup truck carrying a child or baby was struck by a semi-tractor trailer truck Friday morning on Highway 99 at Tudor Road, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office responded to the collision and called for paramedics to assist the people in the smaller truck who reportedly suffered some sort of injuries in the crash. The pickup truck and the big rig truck both suffered too much damage to drive away from the scene and required tow trucks to remove them. Dan Preston Towing in Yuba City was called for the smaller vehicle.
“Hopefully those injured receive the best care available for a full recovery,” said Attorney James Johnson.
