Rollover Crash Highway 99 in Yuba City
YUBA CITY, Calif. (August 3, 2021) — A Yuba City Highway 99 crash happened Tuesday morning near Bogue Road.
The drivers of a red pickup truck and a Kia Sportage collided about 9:38 a.m. on August 3rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP report did not say what led up to the injury crash that left one person with a major injury to their arm.
One of the vehicles overturned and caught on fire in the collision. A black Lexus suffered major front-end damage.
Yuba City police called for an ambulance to responded and transport the injured to a hospital.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the two damaged vehicles from the collision scene.
The intersection reopened to traffic about 10:52 a.m., the report said.
Investigators seek to determine liability for the collision. Witnesses are urged to reach out to the CHP and or Yuba City Police Department.
