Police Chase Ends in Collision at Bridge Street and Highway 99 Monday
Yuba City, CA (January 24, 2022) – Several people suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred in the area of Bridge Street and Highway 99 Monday.
According to ABC10 News, Yuba City Police officers responded to help with an ongoing pursuit of a stolen Ford F-250. Earlier reports indicated the officers were heading east on Bridge Street. When the patrol car entered the intersection at Highway 99, it collided with a civilian vehicle.
Medical personnel arrived at the crash site shortly after the incident. Paramedics treated the two officers and the other driver for minor injuries sustained in the accident. At this time, it remained unclear if the injured parties required transfer to the hospital for further evaluation.
Additional details on the chase have not been discussed thus far.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate liability in the car accident at Bridge Street and Highway 99 in Yuba City.
