1 Seriously Injured in Yuba County Crash on Highway 20 and Jamestown Court

YUBA COUNTY, CA (August 15, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash near Highway 20 and Jamestown Court in Yuba County.

The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident as a head-on collision on Sunday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 2:09 p.m.

CHP said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Yuba County. They crashed near the intersection of Highway 20 and Jamestown Court.

Multiple Vehicles Collide Near Marysville

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Marysville and Loma Rica areas. They found several people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel confirmed that one patient sustained major injuries in the accident. They then took that victim to a hospital for treatment.

Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of Highway 20 and Jamestown Court to shut down following the wreck.

Authorities are still determining the cause of the Yuba County crash.
