At Least 1 Killed in Collision at Forty Mile and Wheatland
Yuba-Sutter, CA (May 28, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly traffic accident that occurred in the area of Forty Mile and Wheatland Road on May 27, Saturday.
Officials said two vehicles collided at the crossing in Yuba-Sutter County. According to the CHP log, the wreck involved a silver Ford sedan and a white Dodge pickup.
Deadly Traffic Accident in Yuba-Sutter
Shortly after 7:54 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics reportedly found an unconscious person. Medical personnel performed life-saving efforts to the barely breathing victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and eventually passed away. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Authorities added a dog sustained injuries as a result of the crash.
At this time, detectives handling the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the traffic accident that happened at Forty Mile and Wheatland Road in Yuba-Sutter.
