At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on San Bernardino Freeway Wednesday

Yucaipa, CA (January 5, 2022) – A traffic crash that occurred on Interstate 10 resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.

Earlier reports indicated two vehicles collided in the eastbound side of I-10, also known as San Bernardino Freeway. Due to the force from the impact, one car veered towards the direction of the center divider wall. Officials said the motorist slammed against the barrier resulting in significant damage to the car.

At this time, the make and model of the vehicles involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.

The CHP logged the case around 2:46 p.m. When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims. Our sources later confirmed at least one person sustained moderate injuries as a result of the crash. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise circumstances that led up to the car accident on Interstate 10 in Yucaipa.
