YUCAIPA, California (October 8, 2015) –At least one person was trapped in their vehicle Thursday morning following a collision on the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway, just east of Oak Glen Road, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash was reported at 7:13 a.m. when a car overturned and landed down in a ditch on the right shoulder. Paramedics responded to help those involved who were hurt in the crash and a SigAlert was issued.
Witnesses told police that the driver of a white Ford Mustang “did a pit maneuver to the party in the pickup truck when the pickup wouldn’t let the sedan into the fast lane,” the CHP report said. Also, both vehicles had been swerving at one another prior to the crash.
An investigation into liability for the crash is underway.
