8 Injured in Yucaipa Crash on 10 Freeway Near Wildwood Canyon

YUCAIPA, CA (February 23, 2023) – Several were injured after a multi-car crash on the 10 Freeway near Wildwood Canyon Road in Yucaipa.

According to the FOX 11 News and ABC 7 News, the accident took place late Wednesday night. Officers reported the wreck on February 22 at around 11 p.m.

The incident happened when 20 cars collided for an unknown reason in Yucaipa. The vehicles crashed on the westbound side of the 10 Freeway near Wildwood Canyon Road.

Multiple Vehicles Collide

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found at least eight people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then rushed the patients to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition.

Meanwhile, officers forced the westbound lanes of the 10 Freeway to shut down near Wildwood following the wreck. The winter weather moving across Southern California caused the incident.

The Yucaipa crash is still under investigation.
