SAN BERNARDINO, California (June 12, 2015) — One person was injured early Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash on the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway, just east of Yucaipa Boulevard, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash was reported at 1:29 a.m. when a witness called police and told them they saw the beige Lexus facing sideways in the No. 2 lane and someone appeared to be blacked out. The car had apparently spun out and was on fire after the crash. One person was detained after the crash.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported an injured person to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash to determine liability.
