Head-On Collision Near Peaceful Oak Road Friday
East Sonora, CA (March 1, 2022) – Zachary Bacis, a 29-year-old man, suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 108 Bypass Friday evening.
According to an article published online by My Motherlode, Zachary Bacis was behind the wheel of an Affordable Tow Truck. Earlier reports indicated the tow truck was heading west on the highway on February 25, Friday.
The incident took place when the tow truck approached the area near Peaceful Oak Road. Officials said an eastbound 2012 Ford Explorer veered into the path of the Affordable Tow Truck with an additional vehicle in tow. Both drivers attempted to swerved to avoid collision, but still ended up crashing head-on into each other.
The accident took place at about 5:15 p.m.
Zachary Bacis Hurt in East Sonora Traffic Crash on Highway 108 Bypass
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to both the driver of the tow truck and the Ford. Our sources confirmed Zachary Bacis sustained injuries to their left as a result of the crash.
Authorities mentioned the driver of the Ford also sustained injuries from the incident. Additional details on the other motorist have not been discussed thus far.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the traffic collision on Highway 108 Bypass.
