Mendocino Fatal Accident
Medical personnel arrived shortly after 6:00 p.m. and found two men ejected from the vehicle. The male passengers were identified as James and 18-year-old Yirakmeal Henry, both from Virgin Islands.
Paramedics said James was still breathing when they attended to him but later succumbed to his injuries. He was then pronounced deceased at the scene.
Also located at the crash site was Hill with major injuries and trapped inside the SUV, and 18-year-old Lynesia Richards also with major injuries.
As per the article, Hill, Henry, and Richards were all transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment. Their conditions have not been updated thus far.
Authorities are still looking into several factors in order to determine the cause of the deadly crash.
We offer our warmest of thoughts, our prayers, and condolences to the family members of Mr. Zion James as they search for peace and comfort.
According to investigators, it is still unknown if Shakela Hill will be held liable for causing the incident that led to Zion James killed, and two others injured. There are still many questions at this time—was the driver under the influence of alcohol or drugs? Did excessive speed or distracted driving play a role? Was the driver negligent in any other way? We trust officials are looking into these and other factors in order to determine precisely what occurred in this tragic accident..
