Roseville Men Killed in Solo Crash
PLACER COUNTY, Calif. (May 31, 2023) — Zachary Brown, Lucas “LJ” Braner and Lane Castro were identified as the three 21-year-old men who died in a rollover crash Sunday on Vineland Road.
One of the three Roseville men was driving a 2008 BMW with the other two as passengers. The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed westbound on Vineland Road. The driver lost control and the car went off the roadway, crashed into a power pole and a brick gate. The vehicle overturned several times. The accident occurred around 1:50 a.m. on May 29th, just west of Cook Riolo Road.
All three men died at the scene and were all identified on Tuesday by the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.
Lane Castro reportedly graduated from Oakmont High School in 2020. There is no further information about the victims at this time.
Authorities did not mention if drugs and or alcohol were factors.
