Deadly Crash on 215 Freeway Involving Semi-Truck in Riverside
At Least One Killed on 215 Freeway in Riverside
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (April 20, 2026) – A fatal crash on the Riverside (215) Freeway happened early Monday near University Avenue in Riverside County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported two collisions around 1:24 a.m. on April 20th including one between the drivers of a white semi truck and a blue Nissan pickup truck in the southbound lanes of the freeway. The circumstances leading up to the collision were not released.
A second crash involved a car and the motorcyclist.
Paramedics responded and transported the injured motorcyclist to a hospital, but there were no further details.
Meanwhile, traffic in the area backed up and all lanes were affected for several hours.
