Two-Vehicle Crash at Intersection in the Antelope Valley Area

ANTELOPE VALLEY, Calif., (Sept. 15, 2026) — A fatal crash happened early Tuesday morning at 240th Street East and East Avenue P between Lake Los Angeles and El Mirage, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The two-vehicle collision occurred shortly after 1:01 a.m. on Sept. 15th at the intersection, the CHP said. The crash involved a white SUV and an unidentified vehicle, resulting in blocked lanes at the scene.

UPDATE: Woman Killed in Crash on 240th Street Identified

Authorities were notified of the collision at 1:42 a.m., prompting an immediate response. Multiple units were dispatched to the site to manage the situation and investigate further. The Los Angeles County Department of Coroner was also informed and coordinated a hard closure of the area around the accident site.

At this time, the identity of the victim has not been released. The investigation into the circumstances leading up to the collision is ongoing, and CHP officials are urging witnesses to come forward.
