Motorcyclist Killed in Pomona Crash on Fourth of July

POMONA, Calif. (July 5, 2023) – A fatal Pomona motorcycle accident happened Tuesday at Park Avenue and Orange Grove Avenue.

The two-vehicle crash occurred at 5:11 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4th at the Pomona intersection, according to the Pomona Police Department and MyNewsLA.

Police and paramedics responded to the scene of the motorcycle accident and located the unresponsive motorcyclist down in the roadway, the report said.

The injured man was transported by ambulance to a hospital where he later died.

The man’s name will be released by the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner after his relatives are notified.

Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle stopped and cooperated with the Pomona Police Department’s investigation, officials said.
