Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Orangevale Crash at Kenneth Avenue and Lonon Court
ORANGEVALE, CA (June 4, 2023) – A crash seriously injured a motorcyclist at Kenneth Avenue and Lonon Court in Orangevale.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Thursday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 2:14 p.m.
The incident happened on June 1 when the motorcycle rider and a white Nissan sedan collided for an unknown reason in Orangevale. The two crashed at the intersection of Kenneth Avenue and Lonon Court.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist lying on the ground. The victim sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stayed at the site following the wreck. The cause of the Orangevale crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the corner of Kenneth and Lonon to shut down for an hour after the accident.
