Motorcyclist Hurt in Escondido Collision on Highway 78 (SR-78)

Escondido Motorcycle, Truck Accident Highway 78, East 17th Avenue ESCONDIDO, Calif. (Feb. 8, 2021) — A motorcyclist suffered major injuries in an Escondido collision Monday with a big rig truck on State Route Highway 78.

The crash happened about 6:37 a.m. on Feb. 8th near East 17th Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reports. Furthermore, police did not state what led up to the collision between the two motorists.

Meanwhile, paramedics responded to treat and transport the injured rider to a hospital. Meanwhile, a flatbed tow truck removed the black 2013 Harley Davidson from the scene.

Investigators are seeking to determine fault for the crash.
