6 Killed in Truckee-Tahoe Plane Crash Identified

TRUCKEE, Calif. (August 4, 2021) — John Dunn, 62, of Dallas, Texas, and Alberto Montero De Collado De La Rosa, 43, of Mexico, are the final two of six victims to be identified from the fatal Truckee-Tahoe Airport crash.
Ryan Thomas, 38, Christine Thomas, 33, both of La Quinta; Thomas Ebaugh, 56, of Lakeville, Minnesota; and Kevin Kvarnlov, 34, of Mendota Heights, Minnesota; were the other four who died Monday when a business jet crashed near a golf course in Truckee, California, Action News Now reports.
The Bombardier CL 600 twin-engine jet crash killed all six people aboard the plane. The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the details last Wednesday to the media.
Additionally, the aircraft crash landed about 1:18 p.m. on July 26th in a forest near the Ponderosa Golf Course in Truckee along Reynolds Way, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
Also, the National Transportation Safety Board confirmed the flight originated from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Meanwhile, the NTSB said last week that investigators were on the scene of the crash. Also, they are piecing together evidence and attempting to determine the cause of the plane crash.
Certainly, they will seek to find out if there were any mechanical issues or weather-related problems.
The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office released the identities of all six victims:
Thomas Ebaugh, 56, of Lakeville, Minnesota
Kevin Kvarnlov, 34, of Mendota Heights, Minnesota
Christine Thomas, 33, of La Quinta, California
Ryan Thomas, 38, of La Quinta, California
