Michael Bennett Fatal Malibu Hit-and-run Pedestrian Accident on PCH

Pedestrian Killed on PCH in Malibu is Identified

 MALIBU: Fatal Pedestrian Accident Pacific Coast Highway (PCH)MALIBU, Calif. (Oct. 5, 2020) – Michael Bennett, 58, of Malibu, is identified as the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Sunday night on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

The man, identified by the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner, was hit by the vehicle about 10:30 p.m. The crash took place on Sunday, Oct. 4th.

The suspect was driving westbound on PCH when they struck the pedestrian at Las Flores Canyon Road, according to the Malibu-Los Hills Sheriff’s Station.

The driver fled the scene without stopping to help the victim.

Police are conducting an investigation into the collision.  Witnesses or anyone with information about the suspect, are urged to call the Malibu-Lost
Hills Sheriff’s Station at 818-878-1808.
