3 Injured After Car Crash on I-5 Thursday
MISSION BAY, Ca (February 6, 2020) – Three people were taken to the hospital following a traffic collision on the Interstate 5 Freeway Thursday, the FOX5 News reported.
Officials said a vehicle crashed and caught fire on the southbound side of the freeway, just east of SeaWorld.
Shortly after 12:30 p.m., medical teams responded to the accident and rendered aid to the parties found at the scene. Our sources confirmed three people suffered injuries as a result of the crash.
Major Car Accident in Mission Bay, February 6
Per local news source, two people were taken to a UC San Diego hospital with major injuries and another person was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. The name of the patients remained undisclosed.
Detectives handling the case continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the crash.
