Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Santa Ynez Crash on Happy Canyon Road
SANTA YNEZ, CA (May 2, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Happy Canyon Road in Santa Ynez.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:24 p.m.
CHP said a white pickup truck and the motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed in the area of 7425 Happy Canyon Road.

The car obtained front-end damage due to the impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the motorcyclist hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the four occupants of the pickup sustained any wound after the incident. Officers forced the roadway to shut down following the collision.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the Santa Ynez crash.
