Ronnie Rogers, 75, Killed in Mission Valley Motorcycle Crash
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 26, 2021) – A motorcycle crash on the Interstate 15 and Interstate 8 transition ramp killed Ronnie Rogers in Mission Valley.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 75-year-old man as the victim of the fatal wreck which occurred last week on Thursday.
The incident began when for an unknown reason a Honda Civic pulled over on the right hand shoulder. The car stopped on the ramp from the northbound Interstate 15 to westbound Interstate 8.

At the same time, Ronnie Edward Rogers was riding a motorcycle in the Mission Valley area. CHP said he then approached the Honda and rear-ended the car.
The impact knocked the motorcyclist down in a freeway lane. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene.
The San Diego Union-Tribune and NBC San Diego wrote that the accident took place on May 20 at around 4:10 p.m.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the female driver of the Honda ended up hurt following the wreck. The tragic Mission Valley crash is still under investigation.
