Major Injury Collision at Gaston and Ancho Mine Road Wednesday
Nevada, CA (June 2, 2021) – At least one person suffered major injuries following a car accident in the area of Gaston and Ancho Mine Road Wednesday evening.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a solo-vehicle with multiple occupants crashed at the Nevada County intersection. Officials later described the car involved in the wreck as a Jeep.
Shortly after 6:55 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the accident scene and located the Jeep rolled down the embankment. First responders reportedly found as many as four occupants partially trapped in the disabled vehicle.
Paramedics at the scene checked the conditions of all four parties. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sustained major injuries from the incident.

Additional details on the car accident in Nevada County have not been discussed thus far. Investigators continue to work at this time to determine whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
