Motorcyclist Killed in Rio Linda Crash at 22nd Street and E Street
RIO LINDA, CA (June 24, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed after a crash at 22nd Street and E Street in Rio Linda.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic wreck took place on Thursday night. Officers reported the accident at about 9:18 p.m.
CHP said the motorcycle rider and a dark colored Ford F-250 collided for an unknown reason in Rio Linda. The two crashed at the intersection of 22nd Street and E Street.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist lying on the ground. They confirmed that the rider died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased party remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the pickup truck ended up hurt or if they stopped after the wreck.
Authorities forced the area of 22nd and E streets to shut down following the collision. The cause of the Rio Linda crash is still under investigation.
