1 Killed, 1 Injured in Canoga Park Crash on North Topanga Canyon Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 1, 2021) – A crash killed one person and injured another on Topanga Canyon Boulevard in the Canoga Park neighborhood.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 3:40 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said a vehicle and a motorcycle collided for an unknown reason in Canoga Park. The two crashed in the 8000 block of North Topanga Canyon Boulevard.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide Near Strathern Street
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived near Strathern Street and confirmed that one person died as a result of the collision.
Another individual sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, police did not mention if the person killed in the incident was the motorcyclist or the other driver involved.
Officials forced a portion of North Topanga Canyon Boulevard to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Canoga Park crash is still under investigation.
