LAPD Motorcycle Officer Hospitalized After Collision at Florence and Vermont Avenue Wednesday
Los Angeles, CA (July 14, 2021) – A Los Angeles police motorcycle officer suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Florence and Vermont Avenue.
The KTLA5 News reported the deputy collided with a silver vehicle at the intersection in South Los Angeles. It appeared the two motorists drove into the crossing at the same time, leading to the crash.

Shortly after 10:40 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the injured LAPD motorcycle officer. Due to the serious condition of the deputy, an ambulance transported them to the hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver of the silver vehicle.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the motorcycle accident at Florence and Vermont happened.
