Rider Injured in Suspected Hit-and-Run Collision on Highway 152 Saturday
Santa Clara, CA (July 24, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on State Route 152 Saturday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Officials said a man riding a motorcycle got involved in a collision while traveling on Highway 152. For an unknown reason, the motorcyclist slammed into the back of another vehicle near Highway 156 in Santa Clara County. Our sources indicated the passenger vehicle continued driving after the impact.
Major Injury Motorcycle Accident in Santa Clara, July 24
Shortly after 1:15 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics found the motorcyclist with major injuries. According to the CHP dispatch, an ambulance arrived at the site and transported the patient to the hospital for treatment. The name of the injured rider remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, authorities continue to identify and locate the other driver involved in the collision.
Investigators continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the hit-and-run crash in Santa Clara.
