1 Killed, 1 Hospitalized After Collision at Ramona and Clovis Avenue Wednesday
Fresno, CA (August 4, 2021) – One person died, and another suffered injuries following a car crash that occurred in the area of Ramona and Clovis Avenue.
The FOX26 News reported a Chevy Trailblazer was traveling on Clovis Avenue Wednesday afternoon. For an unknown reason, the 53-year-old man behind the wheel of the Chevy allowed the vehicle to veer to the right. The sudden movement caused the Chevy to hit the curb at the Ramona Avenue intersection.
According to the article published online, the Chevy continued traveling and ended up sheering off a fire hydrant. The vehicle rolled over and eventually hit a parked Toyota Camry.
Due to the force from the impact, the Toyota and two other vehicles were pushed onto the direction of a nearby car dealership.
Responding paramedics found the driver of the Chevy ejected from his vehicle. Medical personnel pronounced the man dead.

Meanwhile, officials mentioned a 32-year-old man inside the Toyota sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. An ambulance transported the patient to a hospital for treatment.
Additional details on the unfortunate event remained undisclosed. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the fatal car crash at Ramona and Clovis Avenue.
