Norbanoo Dhanani, 71, Killed in Porter Ranch Crash Near Corbin and Mason
LOS ANGELES, CA (August 9, 2021) – A car crash killed Norbanoo Dhanani near Corbin and Mason avenues in Porter Ranch.
Police identified the 71-year-old Porter Ranch woman as the victim of the collision which occurred last month on July 30.
The incident began when Norbanoo Dhanani was riding as a passenger in the area of Corbin and Mason avenues in Porter Ranch.
At the same time, a 16-year-old boy was traveling at a high rate of speed west in a 2021 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 on Corbin avenue. Police said the teen then made a right onto northbound Mason avenue.
Speeding Teen Driver Hits Another Car
In the process, he veered onto the southbound lane and struck the other car near the intersection. Norbanoo Dhanani sustained major injuries as a result of the crash.
Paramedics rushed her to a hospital where she died. Her husband who was driving their vehicle survived the collision which took place at around 7:30 p.m.
KTLA News and FOX LA News wrote that the teenage driver stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim’s car. The fatal collision is still under investigation.
